Dolly was a little jealous of all the space Levi was getting on my blog. So, here's a couple pics of my "other" baby! :-) She loves the couch being under the window, then whenever she hears something outside she jumps up there and watches out the window. Cute!

Just so you know.....
It doesn't always pay to be cheap! :-p
I've been thinking it would be nice to have a stroller for Levi, although we won't use it very often so I didn't want to pay much. I went to Wal-Mart and saw an umbrella stroller with a canopy and a basket under the seat, and the box claimed it even had cupholders. The price was $19.96 There wasn't one on display, and I now know why! I brought it home, got it put together with Jeremy's help, and realized it's probably not going to work. The seat is hard and uncomfortable, making Levi sit in it all slumped over and unhappy looking. The "cup holder" is a mesh bag that snaps onto the handle. The handles are really short, which is fine for me but would make it super uncomfortable for Jeremy to push. And the wheels!!! They're plastic, for pete's sake. LOL--I'm sure those would hold up real well over time. :-p They're just lightweight, cheapy plastic. Boy, can you tell I'm impressed with this stroller??
I am going to return it, I think. When my mom visits next week (yay! mom's coming to visit!) we're tentatively planning a trip to Denver (3 hour trip) to go shopping. There are a couple of very nice kid's resale stores there, so I'll try to find a nicer stroller at one of those places.
Levi in the lovely stroller. See he doesn't look like he likes it does he? :-) (Actually, he's sick today so that's why he looks so "blah")

7 Months
So Sad :-(
I don't need toys, I've got mom's spoon!

Levi's going to be SEVEN MONTHS on Saturday. Wow....time flies! He is such a doll, and so much fun. I wonder if all babies have so much personality, or if he is just unique? The few babies I have been around in the past seem to just be a blob of baby....kind of boring and not much personality.
Levi is a riot! He's going to grow up to be the class clown someday. haha. I also think he's going to have ADHD. :-p His little hands always have to be fiddling with something!
A few of his favorite things:
1. Daddy! (seriously, the kid cannot get enough of his daddy)
2. Paper/mail/shopping lists....straight to his mouth. Ick.
3. Food. In any shape or form. Except green beans and avocado. :D
4. Our pets. He'll watch them if they're in the same room, and if they get close, he very gently pets them and touches them.
5. Going places. He loves to shop, go to the library, etc. He doesn't even want to eat when we're out...he'd rather look around and see what's going on.
6. Sitting up on the floor....I guess it makes him feel big.

Slogans
So, my husband and I can be kind of silly sometimes. Every once in a while, we'll come up with a humorous or sarcastic slogan for a product/company, etc. We've had a few lately that just crack me up, so I'm going to share the ones I remember. (probably only funny to us....)
Viagra:
Keep up the hard work.
or:
We won't let you down.
Sirius Satellite Radio:
Get serious.
XM Satellite Radio:
You can't be serious.
Fruit of the Loom (underwear):
Get your Hanes off me.

I have committed.....
to posting AT LEAST one blog a week for a while. I gotta at least try it....this blog is so boring! If I can't keep it up, I'll get rid of my blog. If I CAN keep it up, I'll attempt to get some regular readers. Ha.

In Memory
March 21 1987-May 22 2006

We little knew that morning that God
Was going to call your name.
In life we loved you dearly,
In death we do the same.
It broke our hearts to lose you,
You did not go alone;
For part of us went with you,
The day God called you home.
You left us peaceful memories,
Your love is still our guide;
And though we can not see you,
You are always at our side.
Our family chain is broken,
And nothing seems the same;
But as God calls us one by one,
THE CHAIN will link again.
